Datta Yoga Centre New Zealand (DYC NZ) is a Non-profit organisation established in 2013 to spread the message of His Holiness Dr. Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, the Founder Pontiff at Avadootha Datta Peetham in Mysore, India. Sri Swamiji is renowned for His Healing and Meditation music and He is considered a divine guide who promotes the ancient Vedic traditions.
Sri Swamiji's Activities
Avadhoota Datta PeethamAvadhoota Datta Peetham is situated in the city of Mysore, Karnataka in South India. It was established by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji in 1966. Many activities take place here, including Education, Kriya Yoga, Bhajans, Music Therapy, and other charitable activities. An Ayurvedic and Allopathic hospital inside Datta Peetham provides medical care to patients, including 100,000 financially needy people, every year.
Shukha VanaSGS Birds Rehabilitation Centre (Shuka Vana) is located within Datta Peetham. Many injured parrots of different species from all around the world are rehabilitated here. Sri Swamiji founded this centre and looks after parrots with personal attention.

Music for Meditation and HealingSri Swamiji has been a leading light in the conceptualisation and propagation of Music for Meditation & Healing. Sri Swamiji's music is soothing, relaxing and amazingly articulate. Sri Swamiji understands the varying vibrational qualities of the different Ragas - the musical modes of the classical Indian music. Sri Swamiji has been touring the globe for over 20 years popularizing the ancient "Raga Ragini Vidya".
Lord HanumanSri Swamiji says: Lord Hanuman is the Brahma of the future Kalpa. He is Chiranjeevi - immortal. He is the one Parabrahma. He will occupy the highest position. Sri Swamiji encouraged chanting of Hanuman Chalisa for Universal Peace. Swamiji has made the Hanuman Chalisa easily available on SoundCloud, Youtube and Vimeo.

Kriya YogaKriya Yoga is an ancient yogic tradition of India prescribed by Sri Swamiji to silence the mind and attain a state of bliss. With every action in thought or deed, the breath pattern changes. Without this change in breath, the action cannot be fulfilled. It teaches proper breath control in order to minimize bodily and mental afflictions and to improve single-pointed concentration.

Bonsai GardenThe Bonsai Garden is located within the Ashrama and contains over 450 miniaturised trees. These trees have been grown with special care, some using Music for Meditation and Healing by Sri Swamiji. They are all valuable trees that have been collected from all around the world, and are currently being used for medicinal purposes also.
