Dr. Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji is the founder and spiritual leader of Avadhoota Datta Peetham at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama in Mysore, India. He is known for his expertise in healing and meditation music and is highly regarded as a divine guide who promotes ancient Vedic traditions.
Dr. Swamiji has been a pioneer in the field of music for meditation and healing, and his music is known for its soothing, relaxing, and articulate qualities. He has an in-depth understanding of the various vibrational qualities of different ragas, or musical modes, in classical Indian music, and during his concerts he creates an ocean of sound that is both relaxing and energizing. For over 20 years, he has traveled the world popularizing the ancient "Raga Ragini Vidya" through his main instrument, the synthesizer, which he calls the Datta Veena, and which is capable of producing the sounds of many instruments. Dr. Swamiji is a living embodiment of divinity and is dedicated to helping mankind connect with the eternal spirit. His mission is to awaken the dormant consciousness of humanity and lift it to higher planes of existence, where it is free from the constraints of worldly bondage. |
